Can I attend a Shakti ceremony or attunement if I am pregnant?

Absolutely—in the first and second trimesters, many women find Shakti energy deeply nourishing. That said, by the third trimester it's usually not recommended, as the body naturally focuses on holding that energetic and physical space. Each stage is unique, and the nervous system already has plenty to hold, so we tend to offer directed sessions only up to mid-pregnancy. You are welcome to start with just one session. Many people begin with a Shakti Alignment Consultation or a single attunement to see how it feels. Some choose to continue with mentorship or community afterwards, but there is no obligation. This is your journey, and you decide the pace.

Is there scientific evidence for nervous system regulation through Shakti?

While formal research on Shakti is still emerging, there is growing scientific evidence that practices which calm the nervous system — such as breath awareness, meditation, and somatic release — improve mental health, reduce stress, and increase resilience. Shakti activations work through the same pathways: helping the body release tension, access parasympathetic states, and restore balance.

How do I know if you’re the right guide for me?

The best way is to listen to your body. If reading my words, hearing my voice, or sitting in ceremony feels safe and resonant, then it’s likely we are aligned. You don’t need to overthink it — your intuition will guide you. If you feel curious and open, that is often the sign that your Shakti is calling you to this work.

Is Shakti work a replacement for medical or psychological care?

No. Shakti activations, attunements, and ceremonies are powerful support for healing, but they are not a substitute for medical treatment or professional psychological care. If you are dealing with a medical condition, mental health diagnosis, or pregnancy complications, it’s important to consult your healthcare provider before joining. Shakti work can complement other therapies beautifully, but it should not replace them.
